Modify the ABR to mount to the existing slot (drill and tap holes in ABR). Mill holes in the rear stock to allow the longer dowels and stud to pass thru the lower section. Drawings to assist are available. The ABR with long dowels are in pic.
The Rules for adding an ABR
Do not raise the rear stock more than absolutely necessary
Space behind the grip to the front of the ABR minimum is 2+” so the adjustment hand is not hit during recoil and the trigger hand does not interfere / touch the adjustment hand.
