The goal is to have the “Blank” ABR installed back into the stock to provide 2” of space behind the grip so the shooters hands don’t touch.
Modify the stock to allow the rear dowel to pass thru (see pics below) and add mounting holes to ABR to align with the existing slot. Button head 1/4-28” bolts (2 qty) are provided. The “Short” dowel ABR only require this modification to the mounting slot while the “Long” dowel require a short pocket above to allow full travel (see third picture for longer dowel). Quickly converts back to the original system with the lower bar.
The Rules for adding an ABR
Do not raise the rear stock more than absolutely necessary
Space behind the grip to the front of the ABR minimum is 2+” so the adjustment hand is not hit during recoil
