Custom ABR
This Adjustable Bag Rider is designed for “Custom installations”. Provided are 2 mounting holes. Addition holes can be added. If you need assistance with a custom installation -use the contact button below in Red - we’ve seen or done many different installs and some are listed on the “Installs” page. Modifications will be needed to the stock to allow the dowels and/or stud to pass into your stock and mounting holes. The ABR is 4.63” long. The ELR Rider is 5.45”
A detailed drawing for “machining” will be added to the website shortly.
Rules for installation:
Do not raise the rear stock more than absolutely necessary
The space behind the grip area to the front of the ABR minimum is 1.75” (more is better)
ABR parallel with the bore
The ELR bottom is available with fine or coarse threads and long and short dowels. The ABR provides rock-solid stability, straight tracking, and vertical adjustment. The ABRs are made in the USA - CNC machined from USA-made 6061 Alum, Anodized Class II Black and weighs 12-14 oz.

Please include your phone # we will call you right away (if in the USA). Consult with your local ‘gunsmith’ or ‘stock manufacturer’ to verify the internal material in your stock will support the mounting of an ABR.
Long dowels provide 1.48” travel and the short provide .98”
Standard Thumb wheel is 1.3” diameter and the Large Thumb wheel is 1.5” and is used on very heavy rifles

Caliber Restrictions:
.338 and smaller calibers will use the Standard Dowels
.33XC and larger need Hardened Dowels (which are black)
PRS use requires Hardened Dowels (which are black)
FAQ’s
“Which lower rider (ELR or V) do I choose?”
The ELR is .85” wide and .5” tall the V bottom fits a 2 stitch bag. The ‘Bag Selection’ page goes over the rider shapes in detail.
“Which DOWEL Material do I choose?”
.338 and smaller calibers will use the StandardDowels
.33XC and larger need the Hardened Dowels
PRS requires the Hardened dowels
Which Thumb Wheel thread do I choose?
Fine Thread (standard) - bench rest, ELR
Coarse Thread - PRS and timed events when faster movement is needed
Which Adjustable Grip is suggested?
The Vertical Adjustable Grip is required to provide the maximum spacing behind the grip
Please note that this product does not fit anything without modifications to the ABR as no mounting holes are included
